Hey all! These are my favourite songs and albums of 2009. I’ve chosen twenty songs and ten albums (2010!) and have arranged them here in ascending order. Happy December! Here’s my Winter / Holiday playlist for you guys! It’s split about half/half between ‘Christmas-ey’ songs and regular songs. I tried to choose Christmas songs that weren’t the traditional overplayed ones.. and the non-Christmas ones are songs that I felt had a cool wintry vibe to it and were too beautiful not to share! Bonbon Mix – Goodbye Summer

The concert was so, soooo amazing. I could not have asked for anything more. Jason Mraz played an absolutely wonderful and memorable show. I seriously have not smiled so much in a concert before, Jason Mraz was a joy to watch and the crowd was filled with positive energy and good vibes.

Bushwalla was the opening act for Jason Mraz. He put on a fun show and got everyone pumped for Jason to come on.

Jason was disguised as the guitarist in Bushwalla’s backing band! haha a few people caught on..

After an intermission, Jason Mraz came on and the crowd went wild!!

Singing ‘Lucky’ but not with Colbie Caillat. My friend was disappointed that Colbie wasn’t the one to sing it with him but I wasn’t suprised at all. One of the highlights of the night was when he began singing a beautiful rendition of ‘Lucky’ in Spanish.

Other favourite moments include when Jason started singing in his opera-esque voice, spectacular! I also loved when he taught us dance moves to ‘Dynamo of Volition’. There were many unforgettable moments throughout the night.

The encore included old favorites such as ‘You and I Both’ and ‘Remedy’ and also ‘Butterfly’ which Arlene was ecstatic about.

An amazing concert came to an end. I really love how Jason was performing barefoot and there were persian rugs on the stage. There was also a point where he was sharing some melons he was eating with some people in the front row! Lucky people.

After the concert, Bushwalla was out signing autographs for people.

We got a picture with Toca!! I got to hold his golden gnome! hahah

One of my favourite songs of the night, ‘A Beautiful Mess’.

Summer is coming to a close pretty soon and I wanted to share one of my music playlists with you. These are some songs that I’ve really enjoyed recently and played throughout the summer months! 1. Closer – Kings of Leon: Such an intense and hot song.. I love it and I love Kings of Leon. I saw them live recently and they were so amazing!!
2. Little Secrets – Passion Pit: One of my favourite bands this year. Their new album is excellent. This song puts me in a good mood.
3. My Delirium – Ladyhawke: Love the tune of this song.
4. Dawn of the Dead – Does It Offend You, Yeah?: I’ve only heard this bands harder and more electro rock stuff like “We Are Rockstars”. This one’s totally different and I really dig it.
5. Sweet Disposition – The Temper Trap: Such a great song! I loved hearing it in 500 Days of Summer, totally fitting.
6. Cult Logic – Miike Snow: Loved this one when I first heard it! My fave Miike Snow track. “I wanna rewrite my heart and let the future in.“
7. Quicksand – La Roux: I like her sound, it’s very unique! It was tough to decide between this song and Bulletproof to add to this mix.
8. She Loves Everybody – Chester French: Pretty catchy tune. This one might play weird for you because it was glitching out on my work computer. Sorry if it is
9. Gold Gun Girls – Metric: Love this track off their new album Fantasies. “is it ever gonna be enough?“
10. Nighttiming – Coconut Records: Coconut Records is the music project by actor Jason Schwartzman. He’s one talented guy.
11. 3 Little Words – Frankmusik: This song makes me feel like jumping around.
12. Fixin To Thrill – Dragonette: This song is pretty rad.
13. Skeleton Boy – Friendly Fires: Cool song. The video is cool too.
14. Lights And Music – Cut Copy: How can you not love this song?! So good!
15. Dying Is Fine – Ra Ra Riot: I wouldn’t like death if death were good..
16. Soft Shock – Yeah Yeah Yeahs: My fave from the It’s Blitz! album
17. New In Town (Fred Falke Remix) – Little Boots: I like this remix better than the original song. Great song to get you ready for a night out!
18. Walking On A Dream – Empire Of The Sun: This song is amazing! love love love
